BECOME A CONTESTANT
So, you think you’ve got what it takes to be a contestant on the
gameshow do you? You’ve got the in-dept knowledge of dozens of anime
from the classics to this year’s biggest hits? You know the vital
statistics of 99 characters and 1 witch? You can achieve 98% synchronization
rate with our state-of-the art buzzers while sitting in a slightly
uncomfortable chair in front of a live audience? Well, even if you
don’t, that's okay.
Here’s what you need to do:
- You must have an Otakon member badge. You can’t really get into
Otakon without one.
- You must attend the Qualification Quiz on Friday.
- You should probably be 18 years of age or older, or have a parent of
guardian available to consent to this activity and to your acceptance of
any prizes you receive. It’s not likely to be a problem, but we like
to be on the safe side.
QUALIFICATION QUIZ
- Friday from 5 PM to 6 PM in Workshop 1.
- It’s a 15-question quiz about anime, of course!
- You may not collaborate. This is an individual competition.
- You may not use your phone or similar device during the quiz. (Duh!
No cheating.)
- If you arrive at the start of the hour you will have the whole hour
to complete the quiz (but you won’t need it, 10 minutes is enough
time).
- You can arrive as late as fifty minutes into the hour and still take
the quiz.
