Gofer Pre-Registration

This information pertains to Otakon 2012.

Due to the large number of Gofers required to help at Otakon 2012, Gofer Operations is opening Gofer pre-registration to everyone (for a limited time). Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail from Gofer Ops. Please be sure that your spam filters will not block messages from otakorp.org.

What this means:

• You are guaranteed a Gofer slot.
• You do not have to stand in line for Friday morning Gofer Call.
• You will be eligible to attend either of the Thursday Orientations.
• Processing your pre-registration will take place at the Gofer orientation.
• You will be able to work on Thursday for either the Matsuri or Pre-Reg check in.

What this does NOT mean:

• You are NOT pre-registered for the con itself. You STILL need to pre-register for Otakon.
  
  
• Not all submissions will be accepted. We need TOP-NOTCH people for Otakon Gofers. That means you present yourself well, put Otakon’s needs before your own when on duty, and carry a friendly, helpful attitude with everyone you deal with, members, staff and fellow Gofers alike. In addition, you must meet all the requirements mentioned on the Volunteering: Basics page.

• Gofer Pre-registration Deadline: July 6, 2012. Pre-registration limit: 200 (sorry, we have to give the Friday morning Gofer call a chance too)
