The Dollhouse is where you can come and enjoy dolls on display, or take pictures of your own dolls! Dolls of all shapes and sizes are invited, even those ones calling themselves “action figures”. Come bring your tiny friends, and enjoy various activities!
Ever buy something that wasn’t quite the right size, color, or just vibe for your doll? Bring it to a swap meet! This will be a scheduled event where participants can trade wigs, eyes, shoes, etc. with each other to find the perfect thing for your doll.
If you want to meet all the other dolls and their owners hanging out at Otakon, attend one of our doll meets. Maybe you and your doll will find a new friend!
Otakon will have its first ever ABJD (Asian Ball Jointed Doll) and Anime Doll Museum! This aspect of Asian pop culture started in 1999 born from the hands of garage kit creators. Just like Otakon, these dolls were created by fans, for fans!
Photography dioramas themed to Otakon’s high fantasy 2026 vibe will be available to take photos of your own dolls in. There will be a large scale (⅓ to ¼ scale) diorama and a small scale (1/12th, or approximately Nendoroid size). There will be a doll prep station with things like lint rollers and brushes to make sure your doll is ready for their photo op!
Finally, put your own doll on display with the customization contest! This year’s theme is high fantasy. Come view the entrees, and vote for the doll that impressed you the most! Pre-registration is encouraged due to limited display space. Click here to read the rules
